Drop a .sqlite, .sqlite3, .db or .db3 file, or enter an https link

Open a SQLite database to browse its tables and views, read the schema and run SQL. The file is opened in your browser and never uploaded.

Up to 1 GB; without OPFS support up to 300 MB in memory.

Files never leave your browserHow?

SQLite browser, SQL runner and CSV export

This SQLite viewer opens .db, .sqlite and .sqlite3 files in your browser: it lists tables and views with row counts, shows the schema, lets you sort and filter rows, runs SQL queries and exports results to CSV, JSON or Excel. The database never leaves your device.

How it works

  1. Open the database

Drop a .sqlite, .db or .db3 file, press Open file, paste an https link or load the sample.

  2. Browse tables

Pick a table to see its rows 500 at a time. Click a header to sort, type to filter, open Schema for the CREATE statements.

  3. Query and export

Run SQL with Run or Ctrl+Enter. Export a table or result to CSV, JSON or XLSX, or download the database.

Features

  • Official SQLite engine

SQLite itself, compiled to WebAssembly, runs in a Web Worker, so data types and SQL behave as in the sqlite3 shell.

  • Large files

Big databases go to the browser's private file storage (OPFS) instead of memory, so files up to 1 GB open.

  • Safe SQL editor

Syntax highlighting, several statements per run, SQLite's own error messages, a time limit and Cancel. Read-only until you turn on Allow writes.

  • BLOBs and long text

BLOB cells show size and type (PNG, PDF, ZIP …), images get a preview, any value can be downloaded. Long text opens in full on click.

Limits & privacy

Files can be up to 1 GB. Databases over 32 MB are copied into the browser’s private storage (OPFS) and deleted when you close them; without OPFS the limit is 300 MB in memory.

Tables load 500 rows per page; a query result shows the first 10,000 rows, and export writes all of them. BLOBs are exported as hex text; Excel export stops at 1,000,000 rows.

SQL cannot attach other files or load extensions. Opening by link needs a server that allows cross-origin downloads (CORS). See the privacy page.

FAQ

How do I view the tables in a SQLite database?

Open the file here. Tables and views are listed with row counts; click one to see its rows or open the Schema tab.

Can I open a .db file without installing a SQLite viewer?

Yes. Nothing to download: it works in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on Windows, macOS and Linux.

Can I edit a SQLite database online?

Turn on Allow writes, run INSERT, UPDATE or DELETE, then press Download changed database. The original file is not modified.

How do I convert SQLite to CSV?

Select a table and press CSV, or export the result of a SELECT query. JSON and XLSX work the same way.

Why does my database not open?

Encrypted (SQLCipher) databases and non-SQLite files cannot be read. In WAL mode, changes still in the -wal file are not included.

Is my database uploaded?

No. The file is opened and queried in your browser; no row or query is sent anywhere.
