Product markup for snippets and merchant listings
This product schema generator builds Product JSON-LD for a product page: identifiers, an Offer or price range, shipping and return policy. It is checked live against Google's product snippet and merchant listing rules.

How it works
Describe the product
Name, images, description, brand and identifiers: SKU, GTIN (EAN/UPC) and MPN.
Set the offer
One price with availability and condition, or a price range with the number of offers, plus shipping cost, delivery days and returns.
Review the checks
The Check tab shows the product snippet and merchant listing results separately with every missing property.
Features
GTIN with the right key
Type the barcode number and the generator chooses gtin8, gtin12, gtin13 or gtin14 from its length.
Shipping and returns
OfferShippingDetails with rate, destination and handling and transit days, and a MerchantReturnPolicy with window, fees and method – details many generators skip.
Offer or AggregateOffer
A single seller's page uses Offer; a comparison page uses AggregateOffer with lowest and highest price.
Honest ratings only
Rating and review fields stay hidden until you confirm that real users wrote them and they are visible on the page; the notice repeats Google's policy.
Limits & privacy
Imported JSON-LD or HTML can be up to 1 MB. One shipping rate and one return policy can be set in the form; add more regions by editing the JSON.
The generator checks formats, not facts: it cannot see whether the price or stock on the page matches the markup. Keep both in sync – mismatches are a common reason for merchant listing problems. Product variants (ProductGroup) are kept on import but not edited in the form.
Validation uses the schema.org vocabulary (© schema.org sponsors, CC BY-SA 3.0, see licenses). Product data stays in your browser – see the privacy page.
FAQ
What is the difference between product snippets and merchant listings?
Product snippets show ratings or price for pages about a product, including reviews. Merchant listings are for pages where the product can be bought, with price, availability, shipping and returns.
Which product properties does Google require?
For a snippet: name plus one of a review, an aggregate rating or offers. For a merchant listing: name, image and an offer with price and currency.
Can I add star ratings to any product?
Only ratings and reviews from real customers that are visible on the page. Invented, copied or undisclosed paid reviews violate Google's guidelines and can lead to a manual action.
How should prices be written?
As a number with a dot, without currency symbols: 119.99, with the currency in priceCurrency (EUR, USD).
Is Merchant Center needed?
No, structured data alone can make pages eligible. A Merchant Center feed adds more surfaces and overrides markup where both exist.
What is priceValidUntil for?
It tells when a sale price ends. Leave it empty for a regular price; an expired date can make the offer ineligible.
